Shepherd
Ryan Shepherd is an American singer-songwriter and performer from Texas. He is a three-time Josie Music Award winner. His first solo single "Something Real" was awarded the Josie Music Award for Pop Contemporary Song of the Year.
In October he released his debut album, Something Real: The Album.
Songwriting is a constant in Ryan's life. As a senior at the University of North Texas, he continues to write and record new music. Growing up in his hometown of Tomball, TX, he first became known as the oldest brother in the pop/rock brothers group Band of Shepherds, winning the 2019 Josie Music Award for Young Adult Duo/Group of the Year, the 2019 H-Town Award for Youth Artist of the Year, and the 2020 Josie Music Award for Duo/Group of the Year Under 18. After writing, singing, and drumming for 7 years with his brothers, he turned to acoustic guitar and keyboard for his solo efforts. He shares his love of music with others as a music teacher at Creative Soul Music School in Lewisville, TX.
